Hey Guys, just wondering if there was any canadians that have ordered from FrozenCpu? If so, how was the shipping/costs (taxes/duties) for their products? If anyone knows of anyone who has had things shipped to canada, please let me know if they were satisfied, or maybe someone else could point me in the right direction as the best place to order my watercooling parts.

Interesting, thank you i have never seen that site before, i was almost certain that ncix was one of the only sellers of watercooling components.

You can also look at directcanada or bestdirect for alternative pricing to NCIX. NCIX will pricematch them, I think they have some type of relation business wise, can't remember what exactly (maybe same parent company).

The one "specialty" cooling company that I remember way before was bigfootcomputers but they are no longer around.

I'd go with Dazmode if the stuff there is available.

FrozenCPU is decent, but depending on how much you're importing, it will be more expensive. The duties are shipping are fine; it's what you would normally expect, but if you choose UPS, you'll get slapped by the brokerage fee (aka profit fee). You can use USPS/Canada Post but it will take much longer for your package to arrive.

Again, if your stuff is available on Dazmode, just go with that. In the end, you'll save more money and you'll get your package much faster. Then again, I live in Toronto and Dazmode is stationed in Toronto.

I live in london, so... 2 hours away. I usually order almost everything from ncix. They dont have much xspc components in stock, like , ever. I use directcanada to pricematch everything i can through ncix. They have bitspower compression fittings and thats about it. Looking through this dazmode site now, seems ok, i will do a build on it later tonight or tomorrow to confirm they have everything i need, if not, mix/match with ncix should do the trick.

Unfortunately, Dazmode is closed right now. The owner is in Europe dealing with personal matters at the moment.

You'll have to wait a week or so before you can use Dazmode; so you'll be stuck with NCIX for now.

Its no problem. Im not impatient, i just want the right materials and to do it properly

I just finished ordering about $700 worth of stuff from them (pics and a build log to come?): UPS charged me a $40 brokerage fee (excluding tax, which was another $6) on a $90 order . Somebody told me that if you either order through USPS => Canada Post or you order via UPS Air you wont get charged that fee as a separate fee --its just built into the listed price.

Everything eventually made it over here, speaking specifically to Frozen CPU I'm happy with their service. They processed it quickly. Standard UPS International shipping --which originated from NY on all of my orders-- took a week + a trailing weekend to get here. Their packaging was a little lighter than I would've liked, my EK blocks got knocked around a bit; the waterblock had left noticable indendations in the cardboard box it came in (though maybe this speaks to the need for EK to use a plastic mold rather than foam in an open chamber).

They're stuff is... well they service a niche market and they charge you for it. 4 bucks for a goddamn piece of pressed rubber is a bit much, but such is life when your ordering parts like these.

Overall, 4/5? Would I buy again? Absolutely. Will I buy again? Not until either my next work term or I'm out of school, its just too expensive.

Lol, my work term is coming to an end as well, (Programming) so im hoping to gather some funds together to watercool everything before the heat really hits... considering i live in an apartment with no AC..... watercooling is a must to keep my overclocks. About frozen cpu, that sounds as it should be to be honest when ordering components like these internationally.

I go sidewinder, but there's also aquatuning.us. You won't get hit with any hidden fees / customs, and they are fast as hell to Canada.
