frozen throne and WS res

ive seen it said elsewhere that warcraft 3: Frozen throne supports 1680x1050. can anyone tell me how this is achieved? i have searched extensively throughout other sites and google and im coming up short :(
 
You can try changing the res in the registry, here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III\Video.

I don't have a widescreen monitor to test on...
 
thanks man. im now running it in glorious 1680x1050 res! and i dont have to wait for the 2ish seconds for it to switch resolutions when going between desktop and game...you have no idea how good this is for me :)
