Wanting to get any ideas from you guys about it. Now, obviously its expensive, but other then that, does it seem like a pretty solid setup? I like the case itself, and I was going to buy that, and build my own watercooling setup, (no experience previous) but then I found their site and the custom setup with watercooling, and Im considering doing it.

Any feedback on frozencpu's quality? Customer Service? Is the setup included a good one? Any and all information you guys have would help.

Dual rear exhaust 80mm fans? What is this, 2004? :p

Looks too pricey for my taste.
 
Do it on your own. It is much more satisfying and MUCH cheaper. You'll be able to get way better wc parts then you would be normally if you just buy the "special" case.
 
It is pretty pricey, but the case alone, last I checked (2 weeks ago) was about 500 dollars.

What parts in particulair are you referring to not being that good?
 
Their workmanship/service is top notch in all my interactions. However it's a 250.00 case (unless my 2:30am eyes are deceiving me) with $385.00 difference for the upgrades not to mention shipping costs. I'd calculate the cost of your own part selection and what it takes to do it yourself.

Nice case but man it's pricey lol.
 
I think that first case you posted is fucking awesome. At that price I could never afford it, but if you are swimming in cash I don't know why you wouldn't want to buy something awesome like that
 
Hah, anything but swimming in the cash.

Just a well earned, hard saved something to come home to, after a 7 month deployment.

Its what gets me through the shitty days. Sad, I know. lol.
 
I like the armorsuit Lian-Li, I just need to find a liquid cooling solution for it.

As far as what I am looking at.


Case-Armor Suit Lian Li
Processor- Intel 920
MB-Unsure, im sure more options will pop up inbetween now and then.
Ram-6GB in triple channel,
Video Card- Havent decided to go for 4870X2, or the next Nvidia to come out and SLI it.

Expecting to spend about 1500-1700 on the system itself, and an additional amount for a LCD display solution, probably going 42 or so LCD.
 
Best thing to do man is hit up the water cooling section here as those guy's know their stuff well and get tailor your needs very quickly. I too was wanting a kit as it was easy but after a few weeks of solid research and some help from Arcygenical , him and I pieced one together, powerful but very easy to set up, even for a 1st timer. Give it a go or you can even call a place like Petras or Danger Den etc and discuss what you'll need and have them do most of the work for you and ship it out to ya.

Not worth it.

It's very satisfying to know you've completely a WC project on your own, and that no one's case is just like yours. Buy from FrozenCPU for 3 times the cost and you will also know that you aren't the only one with this "custom" case.

Also, 80mm fans ftl.
