Front usb on X-Qpack not working!

I have been trying to get the front usb on my new xqpack working for a few days now. (as long as i have had it!) but when ever i connect a device windows says the device has malfunctioned. i have narowed it down to the either the wiring or the PCB as an old usb front pannel works in the same header port. There are two pins on the same set with + and - on them (see pic). I dont know if these have anything to do with it but i thought i would point it out.

from what that connector (which is really huge in that pic) looks like, its correct. if looking at the pins from that side, left to right should be

shield black green white red open
shield black green white red open

what motherboard are you connecting to?
 
if your device draws a lot of power from the usb port, you should use the ports at the back.
 
i kinda hve the same problem...all usbs were working fine till now...had the system since december of last year. when your looking at the back of the pc the 2 left usbs dont work but the 2 on the right do and the 2 in the front dont work either. like i said they all used to work. i didnt install anything new or move the comp just out of the blue those stoped working and i also get a some error
