I am modding the front of my case, and I am deciding whether I should cut out some front panel connectors. Originally, I had some front panel connectors, but I never used them before. I know, it would probably be a nice to have feature, but I do have all those connections available in the back. So, I guess I just wanted to know, if you guys use them too, and/or if you would make some front panel connectors?

Thanks in advance.

i find front connectors realy nice, esp USB (which should give you a nother couple ports), serial (most mobos dont even include it on back), microphone (counterstrike) and headphone/lineout (more cs lanning), firewire (ipod), and a molex (to hook stuff up to).

on my main machine i also have three RCA connectors that go to line in L/R on my audigy and Vid in on a pinnical adc board.

one imortant thing is hideing them so they dont look terable. i usaly hinge a baycover, spring load it, and use some neodemum (very small + powerfull) magnets to keep it closed.

if you dont use any of that stuff ever, they you can just break out the bondo

You mean something like this?

are there ones that are just audio plugs? and just firewire? cuz mine already has usb, but nthing else
Sure... http://www.frontx.com/

I've bought single wires from 'em to use with certain case mods when I just wanted one specific port, they've got 'em pretty long if ya need 'em I think.

Having a couple front USB ports is nice for sure, I use 'em for gamepads (when I play console emulators or whatever) and USB keys, front audio ports are nice too if your speaker controls don't have 'em, very convenient. FireWire it depends on whether ya use 'em (my USB key is my USB player so...).
