Front panel USB ports not visible

I have the ASUS TUF Gaming GT502 case. The front panel has 2 USB ports and a USB-C port, but its really hard to see them in a dim room. Most times after fiddling around to "stick it in" for 10 seconds, I use the flashlight on my phone to see where the heck the opening is. Case sits on the floor under the desk.

The RGB ighting coming through the front window or RGB logo bottom right does nothing to light these ports. The ports themselves have nothing to help. Nothing in the indented section lights up.
I don't like some of the ideas (below) I thought of, so seeing if there are any other MacGyver suggestions that are not too ugly.

Ideas:
Use 1 of the USB ports for a light
Use a rear USB port for a light that sticks over the top front of the case
Add a light strip that I can dim on the front panel
Add some sticky/raised dots right of each port, left of the embossed lettering, so i can feel around for it like braile (this might be the way I go if nothing better)


Would have been awesome if the ports glowed from the inside.
 
I thought about a hub, but really wanted a clean desk. There are two ports on the monitor that are already used.

For now, the glow in the dark paint sounds interesting. Might looks for glow in the dark dots/stickers first, but may not glow as long or be as bright as the paint.

as a kid obsessed with glow in the dark shit, theyll both suck.
get a stick on push button light to mount on the underside of the desk.
 
Really thin EL or led strips on the sides going down the front would look amazing.

The real deal shit from seiko works really well, at least for a couple hours in the dark. But it's unobtainium, and anyway they're really designed so you can just flash the backlight for a millisecond and then they're lit up like daylight.

So yeah, an led or something would be better, but glowey paint is second best imo, or else very bright/fluorescent paint.

Only if it allowed clap on / clap off lol.

Will see what happens if i shine a light behind these ports from inside the case. Maybe tiny spaces will let them "glow" from the outside.

After all this, may end up with pointing the phone at it again. Ugh.

In your photo, how deep is that 'trench' from the face with the ports to the right side? Im thinking of the led strip on the side facing toward the window would light it up. Quickly found some 3mm led strips, but might be able to get smaller

yeah its not much. the ikea one would stick out for sure. most likely anything i find will face forward and wont fit on the part facing right towards the posts.
