I'm building several machines off the M350 Universal Mini-ITX enclosure and Gigabyte GA-H87N. With things as it is, the included USB header cable has only enough room to reach the panel connection and barely enough room to plug in. The second stick of ram cannot be installed before plugging in the USB cable first and will require special care to install ram underneath, afterwards.

After having to make adjustments inside the case a few times, one of the red wires has become detached from the gold connector of the plastic USB plug. Additionally, when connected the cables are very tight against the ram (one of them has a tilt not like the other).

What are my options here?

replace the cable? if it's replaceable and male on both ends (it loosk like it may be) than something like this is in order.

The memory is right up against the cable and plug. I could replace the cable with one of the same exact type however the problem would likely reoccur.
