Front panel lighting controller and 3.5" bay mod

I am working on designing a 5.25” front panel for controlling all my cold cathodes, but I also want the same panel to hold a 3.5” bay for my card reader. I have some neat 3.5 brackets I scrounged from an old gateway to act as the 3.5 bay. My plan is to use black acrylic or my corsair obsidian's original drive cover as the face, put the 3.5 bay in the upper left corner, USB 3.0/eSATA ports in the small space underneath the 3.5” bay and the lighting controls on the right side. Now this is going to be cramped, I figure from just rough measurements that I only have a 3x3.5 cm rectangle to work with for the switches. I want to put in the following switches for the lighting:

Sound control DPDT <sound control on, sound control off>
Blue cathode ST <on, off>
UV cathode ST <on, off>
Bubble cathode ST <on, off>
UV LED's ST <on, off>
Sound controller Sensitivity Pot?
Extra Future proof switch ST <on, off> (if room)


I want to have the Blue and UV cathodes on sound control and was thinking about taking the wires directly from the regular sound controllers switch (on the PCI bracket) for the DPDT switch and then putting the other ST switches in the line between the inverter and the cathodes.

To get all these switches to fit I was thinking about going with small push button switches on a bread board, but such switches are normally rated to around 50mA.

Can some one tell me what rating of switch I should be looking for to cut the high voltage line after the inverters and where to get small enough switches? So far radio shack seems only to have 1/4” hole switches which would be to large. I'm looking around for 1 cm rectangular rocker switches but it doesn't really matter as long as it fits.

I think you'll have problems finding a high-current, small-footprint pushbutton switch. A toggle switch or rocker switch will give you much more current capacity, even if it's bigger.
