Front page news

[Team Obi Juan]

Being a forum reader, I go to the Front Page News section to go to the news... Always forums first, then news.

When I click on the link in the forum post by Steve, I get taken to a HardOCP site. At the top of the article is the title. The title is a hyperlink to the article I'm already looking at. A little piece of text is the hyperlink to go to the real, off-site article.

It fucks with my head.

This has been answered a few times. It increases page views, which help keep this place we all enjoy running. Not a terrible lot of inconvenience considering the bang for your buck we get here.

No, the OCP news article just links to the same page. (essentially nowhere).

Clicking on the links in the forum takes you to the Front Page where you can navigate normally. The News Forum is for those who read the forum but miss the Front Page News....it's simply a reference to the article and will not take you directly to the article itself.
