Well with a :
amd S754 3000+ at 2.4GHZ
Soltek K8an2e-GR
1gig of corsair ram 2x512
460W vantec PSU
EvGa 6800

What would be a worthy upgrade?Yes,of course it would be PCI - e...I would like to keep it under 275$.Ohh but yes I could easily get a 7800GT for 299,but Im also buying a new case, motheboard, and 1 gig of ram. What would be a "upgrade" in your opinion?

well if ur upgrading from the 6800, then nothing really, everything worth upgrading to from what you have is starting at the 7800gt price and sliding upwards.

get a 3000+ venice e6 mine is at 2792 and a dfi mobo you can keep your ram that way that should be around 250 ish maybe a little higher

i agree on that. Recommendation for a good mobo would be a ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe great mobo and for some reason i have had it for almost 4 months and the chipfan is still going strong OR if you want SLI, EPOX has a sli s754 board. NOTE the board has locked 8x/8x lanes unlike most 939 boards that select 16x/0x for one card and 8x/8x for dual/sli
