Friends PC NO WORKY?

Ok, so a friend and I built his new pc specs are:

2600+ 333fsb
1gig 2700 DDR
nvidia 5950 ultra
maxtor hdd

Well when we get it all booted up, it just reboots, I have swapped every part with other spare parts, checked to see if it was grounded, nothing, wut the hell is the problem? ne1 Thx

What do you mean get it booted up? When it gets to post it reboots? Could be temp related. Could be ram, could be a few differant things.
 
Ok well...WTF?? Anyone kno the problem? It isnt temp related because it runs 35 celcius, and its booted into windows but just SHUTS down, Liek I have said..i have SWAPPED ALL THE PARTS OUT RAM IS GOOD VID IS GOOD ETC =( Im clueless

Did you swap the PSU?
 
If you had been using it for a while, or pulled a working HD out of another machine, it could just be a problem w/ the OS. Try reloading the OS again from scratch. I've seen some virus' and adware do similar things before.

Also, UPDATE BIOS, that seems to always solve those little mysterious problems ;)
 
the PSU is 550Watt Reapcpower PSU, and the PSU worked on his other pc, so we kno it works, i guess we will try and reformat the pc, ill see what we got =o
