Ok so a friend had asked me to fix there computer a few weeks ago....I go over there and do my thing....I removed 2000+ viruses and all kinds of spyware....did the windows update...and everything seemed to be cool....

Now theyre telling me that the computer just randomly turns off....what can this be?....I was thinking maybe a bad PSU or someting?....

any other ideas?

thank you

Testing RAM is a good start. But also make sure system files are corrupted - the viruses may have done some funny stuff to Windows. If the RAM test throws up no problems, you may want to re-install Windows.
