Are there any credit cards that do this kinda thing... like every dollar you spend you earn points which can be redeemed for hardware... i'm just curious since i'm looking for a new cc and keep running across the frequent flier ones...

if there isn't one, someone here must know someone high up in newegg... i recommend you get on it... this would substantially increase your christmas bonus i am sure! :D

I dont know if they still have it but, there used to be a Sony credit card. You would earn points toward Sony products. Not exactly PC hardware but you can get a digital camera and a DVD burner maybe.

Thats the closest thing I could think of.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking as well. It would be GREAT if they had a card like that, but I have never heard of it either.

by the way, i found a pseudo solution to this... anythingpoints.ebay.com ... seems to be the closest you can get to getting computer stuff for free based on credit card purchases... i for one am joining :)...
