Ok my freind needs a little help and this is what he asked...

Ok...

It all started when I took my harddrive out of my computer.... i put it back in... and it didnt work... so i took out the ram (being the dumbass i am) and put it back in... and took out the modem and put it back in...... and attached the harddrive.... now i started the computer (Starts up fine...) and it says 32mb of space (which is the default on the harddrive i know... so i plug in the ram chip start it... and on the dos menu it says
start in normal mode
safe mode
blah blah
or the last good configuration..

i tried normal... and good configuration and safe..

and then the next screen it list the hardware installed (text in msdos real quicky in tables < what it looks like) and then it goes back to the normal safe mode last good configuration screen... and it looks like it goes over the screen fast and then flips back... what is wrong with my computer?

Also... I write music and sing and stuff... and I have 200 dollars.. is there a way i could help the recording quality on my computer with that much?

i currently have 256mb ram chip 1.6 ghz processor, 40gb hd, decent soundcard.. and default graphics card.....

what should I update on it? the ram? and is it possible for a dual soundcard where it can take input and then output at the same time? just some questions... lol
