FreeSync 2.0

free sync 2 or HDR?

Dell just got an HDR monitor at 2k for 4k HDR lol, kinda expensive, been thinking about it lol, but I can wait 6 months till others come out to drop the price a bit.

Both. I have a monitor that needs replacing but I don't want to buy one without HDR when it looks to be becoming a standard feature (and Freesync would be nice too).

ah, they have been announced so probably see them in stores by end of June Julyish.

AMD powers the consoles. AMD cannot deliver 4k @ 60fps or even 1080p @ 60fps sometimes. Use Freesync. Push for Freesync in TV's.

Is it that complicated? How much cost does such a thing add to a device anyways?

Freesync by itself I think has no costs, even HDMI 2.1 has some type of syncing tech. But this tech will be open to both nV and AMD.

Freesync 2.0 is different though, its comes with extra costs because there will be certain features it will definitely need and of course the costs of the certification costs too. So it should be similar to Gsync in costs (AMD might drop it some, but still, costs will be there)
