I just want to clone my files/os from my HDD to my new SSD without re-installing windows.

Is there such a program that is free, or that I can find a torrent for??

Just make a replica of my HDD, and put it on my SSD, and it be bootable.

A quick note, the reason I want to do this is because it took me 5+ installs to get it working right, and I spend a motherload of time installing stuff last night.

Clonezilla, Its a linux live CD with a menu to clone drives. its not supper easy to use, strait forward, but not easy there are a lot of options that can mess up a clone. I used it once to clone a drive (250gb to 500gb hdd) and missed one option, which was to adjust the partition table (should have know that one  ), and when i booted up the 500gb drive, i was unable to expand the partition with the extra space, ended up creating another one.

It works really well when you know what your doing, you can probably fin tutorials on the Internet involving it and cloning to an ssd. also remember that when cloning to an SSD you need to change some windows settings to get it to see the new ssd as an ssd and treat it as such.

Anything that I can hit a button and not have to screw with settings on linux?

I used the free version of Acronis from Western Digital. Very simple to use.

I have read other posts where people have used it for non WD hdd's for cloning to SSD's. However I cannot speak from personal experirnce, perhaps someone else can?

OP, look in to MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition.
It's free and you can make a bootable CD.
