free ipods real or no?

Goes against my better judgement to ask something like this but my friends are all jumping on the free ipods dot com bandwagon insisting its real. I highly doubt it but doesnt hurt to ask around. So, can anyone confirm that this is a scam? You dont have to submit a credit card to do this, and all you have to do is make a bid on ebay (supposedly).

Some people have gotten theirs, most have had their account invalidated for some asinine reason after completing all the offers. Note that at each round of this pyramid scheme, exponentially more people are required, therefore the vast majority of people who sign up will not get theirs, by mathematics alone. Now if you take into consideration the lawyer-language laden TOS, your chances are slim.

i tried it. only one of my referrals actually got credit (out of 7) and i didn't get credit even though i did 2 offers. My friend did it and he got credit, and 2 of his friends did so far. I think theres been a problem with their servers lately. Eitehr that or their a shady internet company who is shady. i wouldn't count on getting a free ipod.
 
Pyramid schemes disallowed by the rules, but i'll leave this visible for others who are curious about their credibility, since this seems to be a hot topic lately.
