Um. I'd join GenMay, but the last time I joined an off-topic forum a few years ago, it ended up sucking my life into a vortex portal out of which it escaped by luck and luck alone. I don't want the same thing to happen again, so I'm not sure if I want to join.
 
I'd love access, especially since I've grown a bit nostalgic for the car section which was long since quarantined to GenMay :p

I have been meaning to get back in to GenMay, I was one of the old car forum members who greatly misses some of the awesome projects that were going on.
 
You posted this thread on Oct 7 (my birthday).... so... you can give the free GenMay access to me as a birthday gift! =D
 
I've always wanted to join it, but being a broke college student, I couldn't justify spending money for access to a forum.

Edit: I didn't even realize what it was till after I posted this. I'll take anything that is free considering I have around 20 free magazine subs.
 
After the last couple of free access weekends I'm not convinced I need to be in that forum :p

I will be closing this around lunch time (4 hours from this post), than take a while figuring out who I will select. Will ask kyle to confirm the people i selected does not have genmay first.
 
Well, I definitely have the seniority. I used to be on GenMay way back when it was free (and before it splintered) and then on the car section before that got sucked in. Either way, I should really get around to joining.

I used to waste hours/days on the original GenMay, also in the Anime section :) It really doesn't seem the same place, though :( Especially the hobby sections appear to have largely died. A real shame :(

I always find myself wishing there was a general board, and forget that GenMay exists in the shadowy netherrealm of [H]. Pick me!
 
I met TheBuzzer once, he was a refreshing and pleasant to be around. He made me laugh like no other stranger has, and even though I'm not gay I must say he is a handsome man. I had helped his grandmother move from her country house to a suburban home so she could be closer to her family, and I would not be surprised to see TheBuzzer return the favor by giving me a genmay sub. He is that awesome.
