Hi, quick question as all of the whitepapers I read focused on either the paid versions or pCPU's. Is there any limit to vCPU per VM in free ESXI 5.0...if so what is that current limit? Also is the ability to specify vCPU's as multiple cores rather than individual processors in the free version?

Free vSphere Hypervisor 32 GB²
² this limit is GB of physical RAM per physical server

Found a Linky

Can't help at all with question #2

Correct...pRam is 32 GB, however I am wondering if they modified/removed the vCPU per VM limitation from the 4 vCPU that was in ESXI 4.1 (I believe)

Ya know ... sometimes I just smoke one too many.
Can we just restart this whole day over?

I apologize for my useless reply.
