Upgrading a PC, I want to mirror the OS drive to a new HD for the new PC. Are there any good/reliable drive mirroring softwares out there?

Western Digital and Seagate both use a rebadged Acronis True Image. Check those out if you have a seagate or WD hard drive.

Like mentioned above....both Seagate and WD have a tweaked version of Acronis available for download from their websites...and it's free. You don't even need to take the time to burn a CD...just install the program and run it through Windows (with your new "destination" drive connected to another SATA port). Run through the GUI menu...clone...do your settings, it will prompt you to reboot, it will do the clone, prompt you to power off...do whatever you have to for your drives, and you're done. It's so easy and quick.

However, you mention transfer your drive to a new PC....is the motherboard all different on the new PC? Different chipset? If so, may want to consider doing a fresh install.

I've used Easeus Todo Backup for cloning, works quite well, and it's free.
