Free Diamond

Just received my diamond yesterday, it is the smallest thing i have ever seen. The diamond is not very good quality, Yellow.

Wonder if the bag that the "diamond" came is more expensive than the diamond itself :)
 
lol just going through some of the older free posts and I love it. I'm a jeweler and I wish I would have come across this earlier. Just to see the quality and size etc... How yellow is that diamond? it might slip into the fancy grades, might even be "coffee" or "champagne" fancy words for off color diamonds.

It also sounds like it was a .1 or .05 carat diamond, they use them for pave setting and the highest quality of those is about $5 cost. So you probably got a $2-$5 free diamond.
 
Actually mine is quite clear from what I can tell. I'm sure it is a very rough cut, but again, you can't really complain when it's free. I still have no idea what the hell I want to do with it.
 
got mine in the mail on Saturday. It looks to be small enough that it fell out of a watch face. I almost thought it fell out of the bag, but I did eventually see it in there.

Still, it was free and that's all that counts.

Got mine. Has anyone tried to get it verified that it is a diamond and not just a chip of glass? :) And what is it worth? Companies spend millions on advertising... but I have a feeling this isn't part of such a campaign :p
 
I got mine. The facets are polished to some degree. And it is pretty yellow. Still kinda cool.

I did try to get my wife to eat it, just so I could say that "Shes chuck full o' diamonds and has a heart of gold". She hasnt eaten any gold either...
 
Got mine today, verrrrry tiny. Still not sure if they gave me sand or diamond, but free is free :D

Just get her to wash down the diamond with Goldslauger (sp) ;) :D
