I'm interested in fairly simple chrome keying with videos, often known as green screening. I've had some success using Adobe Premiere Elements and enjoying using this software.

However, for another project that I'm working on I need a lot of copies of some green screening software, on a nonexistent budget! So I'm looking for any suggestions of free software that has some form of chroma keying for video.

I'm currently looking into the possibility of using Windows Movie Maker with a free plugin. I'd be interested to hear if anybody has any positive/negative experiences with this option?

I'm quite aware that there is going to be a significant difference in quality between Adobe Premiere Elements and a free alternative! By the way, it needs to run on Windows, from XP onwards.
