It's the bounty program started by Louis Rossman and his group to give bounty's to developers and development teams that can/will develop unlocks for devices that companies digitally lock once they want to sunset them, even if the device itself is still fully functional. Perfect example is these Google Nest thermostats that Google digitally locked. FULU (Freedom from Unethical Limitations on Users) offered a bounty for unlocking them again, and was successful.
