Freaky Microsoft Piracy Video

Microsoft wasn't able to stop piracy via their DRM and various other software validation techniques. So their next step? Scare potential pirates by suggesting if you pirate you'll suffer identity theft, stolen data and financial information. Clever, even though I've never even heard of it happening; people who generally pirate know a thing or two about infected software and security.

Bill Gates once said that he'd rather see a people used pirated Microsoft products rather than the competitions and figure out the money on the other side. The counterfeit market for Windows and Office is huge, especially outside of the US and it is a problem for Microsoft and its customers and can lead to nasty stuff. Activation and DRM in Windows and Office is not only about protecting Microsoft but also customers who are getting ripped off by people selling illegal copies of Windows and making pure profit.
 
And you never seen booby trapped warez? Hard to believe, it's all over the place.
 
Seriously, Microsoft makes some of the worst videos known to date. You'd think a multi-billion dollar would come up with something better than this crap or the stuff with Gates and Seinfeld.
