Ok, I have no idea how to interpret those color bars. Do you want only 1 color to show? 50/50 split? Does it not matter as long as the transition to new colors/frames is smooth and thus the picture is worthless?
 
Actually AMD in Xfire looks bad, but in single card solutions AMD looks better than Nvidia.
 
I won't be buying a DVI capture card to analyze my frame times.

It's the point at which one frame is interrupted by the next frame being output to the display. With vsync on each frame would be solid along the left side.
