Building a system for my buddy and picked the Core 3000 USB 3.0 up locally since if there is a problem no issue returning. Total price was $81.17. Newegg has the Define R4 Window for $89.99 shipped.
My friend isn't picky. Is there any reason to return the Core 3000 and get the R4? Major differences between the two? They look ery similar and my guess is the R4 has more room under mobo for cable management.
Being really silent is not critical but he does need a case that won't get too dusty. He'll only be running an SSD and a single hard drive plus GTX 750 Ti, 4770K w/ Evo cooler, Z87X UD4H mobo, 16GB RAM.
Thoughts on this? If it is pretty close I won't bother since imo shipped PC cases sometimes show up damaged...
Thanks
