Fraud warning - Panaflo clone

I ordered a 92mm fan from here http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/pa92ulqu.html

now I noticed that the label on the fan is not like this one: http://www.jab-tech.com/product.php?productid=2608&cat=80&page=1


the above labels of the same fan is different. it seems like the first one is a clone.

can someone clerify this so that other forum members won't fall into the trap?

Nexus fans are clones of Yate loon. It happens all the time. Its not fraud!

If you could get the fan you got cheaper then its good.

NMB Electronics bought the Panaflo brand a while back. If your Panaflo fan you bought says NMB-MAT, you still have a Panaflo. If the fan tail is removable, you still have a Panaflo.

The wire used to power the fan isn't hard-wired onto the fan itself, it plugs into a proprietary 3-pin connector on the fan's circuit board. The fan you bought from Sidewinder Computers already has the 3-pin tail included.

Almost. Nexus' are made by Yate Loon. They are also about 5x the price, and only mildly more quieter.
