Fractal Design Node 202 Questions

After nine years worth of delayed gratification, I've decided it's finally time to build myself an all new desktop. I'm going to start collecting parts over the next few weeks as I find deals. Tentative Parts List (Titan X as placeholder for GTX 1080)

I've been looking at the Node 202 as an interim case while I wait for the A4, but I have a few questions before I go on a shopping spree:
  • I'm reading the Node 202 can fit two 120mm fans; are there any restrictions on width (either GPU or fan)? I was looking at Fractal Design's Venturi HP-12 PWM fans (25mm). The 202 is listed as 82mm wide, but is that actually how wide the interior is?
  • I'd like to get an Intel 750 (2.5") to plug into the u.2 slot on the Impact. According to the Intel Specifications, it's taller than a standard SSD (~15mm). Will I have any problems fitting it into the SSD cage? I can't seem to find measurements for that on Fractal Design's website.
  • This last one is more of a dumb question: does the SX500-LG come with the flat cable set I keep reading about, or is that a separate purchase? How helpful is the flat cable set in the Node 202?
I'm also open to suggestions on other parts of the build, though I question how much there is to change.

-I currently have an MSI GTX 980Ti Gaming 6G Golden edition with two full width Fractal 120mm case fans in front of it and they fit just fine (although cooling is less than stellar)
P.S. With both fans installed you will not be able to use the GPU support bracket

-The SSD cage floats each standard size 2.5" drive about 1/4" above the bottom of the case when mounted and theres about 1/4" of clearance near exterior case edge and about 1/2" of clearance near the interior edge of the SSD cage when mounted.

-I cannot personally answer that question specifically as I have a 600W SFX PSU from Silverstone, however it does have a flat cable set and they caused me no problems.

Yeah my case arrived last week. I've put everything together, just waiting on my GTX 1080 now. I decided to skip the Intel 750 since it definitely won't fit, and with the Corsair SF 600, the cables are absurdly long and I had to stuff the extra length into where I was planning on putting the 750. Incidentally, the SF 600 is upside-down, so I had to reroute the power cable as well.

I have a 1080 Founders Edition on the way, but I was tempted to send it back and get the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X instead; looks like very similar cooler to the Gaming 6G Golden Edition that you have. What are your temps like? Would you recommend just sticking to the reference blower cooler instead?

I actually had that question for the fractal rep, my card runs hot normally (70+ C). in the node 202 it gets to thremal throttle temps, I'm probably gonna stick with the reference cooler 1070 when it comes out, but yes actively cooling a non standard design in the node 202 has proven to be a challenge for me.

I don't know what the temps look like with the Twin Frozr VI but I imagine it will still be pretty high judging the temps of my 980Ti which normally runs low to mid 70s in my desktop case

I think you're on the right track with the reference design for a case that small.

What kind of load for high 50s to low 60s? If you prime95 on 8 threads, how high does it go?

mine is actually taken apart right now but I'll let you know when I benchmark, still trying to figure out the GPU cooling issue
