The crew at eTeknix have the Fractal Design Arc Midi case strapped to the review bench today for a little review action. Here's a quote from the review:

Fractal Design’s Arc Midi’s aesthetics are built around elegance and an understated appeal. An appearance which isn’t too different to that of high-quality Lian Li cases, but the use of some plastic instead of brushed aluminium is an intelligent move. Some people may strongly oppose the use of plastic on their case exterior. Personally, I don’t think it is such a disaster because Fractal Design have implemented an attractive style with the non-scratch, low maintenance and cost-effective benefits.

I got this case to replace an Antec 900 that I was using for my old WHS rig. The 8 drive bays are great, lots of room. Only major complaint that is noted in this review (and on Newegg) is that case components fit VERY snugly. It takes alot of force for the removeable drive bay and all the screws. I think they test fitted all the pieces and then painted them, and never tried putting it together after that.

Overall a great quiet server case, that's not flashy.
