i've read many reviews of the samsung 172X but i haven't found many for the benq fp931.....the benq is only like 360 right now on newegg, while the samsung is right at 400....i'm wondering if gaming is decent on the FP931....it's a little cheaper than the smaller samsung....i was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on which i should get....

i use my comp for lots of coding and playing games....any CRTs hurt my head a bit nowadays so i'm looking to upgrade to an LCD....i also wanna know if i'll notice much of a difference going down to a 17" LCD instead of a 19" CRT....or if i should go for the 19" LCD...

opinions ???

Weird, that is the exact choice I was stuck between 3 weeks ago. I eventually chose the fp931, but when newegg screwed up the order and I had to cancel it, I waited a few more weeks and then went with the 2005fpw from dell.

edit: Another thing to think about, the fp937 is for sale at pcmall for about a 100 more, it is identicle to the fp931 but with 12 ms response instead of 16, and 500to1 instead fo 450to1.

From reading ppl's posts, most prefer the 710T to the 172X. You might want to check that out.
