Starting a little project. Basically taking apart my wife's Dell and building a newsystem around the P4 Northwood 2.6GHZ CPU. Have most of the gear and will be using a Lian Li case but the mobo is a qestion marl for me. Have settled on a 875P chipset and was wondering if this mobo is worthwhile:

Foxconn 875A02-6EKRS Socket 478 Intel 875P ATX Intel Motherboard

I am a AMD guy so am a little out of my element with the intel world but have heard, and read, that the 875P is the chipset best suited performance wise for the above CPU. Just amazed at how expensive Intel stuff is compared to AMD.

Anybody want an old Dell case LOL. Rest of the stuff will be leftovers from my other builds and mod projects:
Fortron Blue storm 500 PSU
2 x Corsair CMX 512 PC3200/DDR400 PT
Lian Li PC60 A Plus
PNY 6800 vanilla (AGP) from Dell
WD Caviar 80GB HDD w/8mb buffer

Will purchase:
mobo
Zalman 7000cu cooler on the P4.
XP-SP2 OEM
Works Suite OEM
