after taking out tons of gunk, and un-stickying my control key from the coke i spilled on it, i popped up the space bar and a metal thing went shooting at me, i dont know where it goes.... its about 7.2 cm long and it curves at the end like a staple, the curved part is exactly 1 cm long on each side


edit: if i push on one side of my space bar the other side comes up alot
 
its a clip. it goes under the 2 prongs by each end of the bar, and keeps it level for when you hit it.
