Forum being slow

After editing my post it took 45 seconds to update it.

nslookup goes from not showing .204 to showing .204 about every other time I execute it.

You will need to take up that issue with your ISP or whoever handles your DNS. We have nothing to do with it.

1 Minute and 12 seconds to get into the thread.

Less than a second to edit.

15 seconds to update.

I've had various times all day as well that were plagued by slowness.

test////

edit.. ouch..

took around 10seconds to post.. Edit, loaded quick though.

going slow for me
nslookup hardforum.com does not load, but I'm using OpenDNS so maybe it takes longer to update?

Just had another slowdown, but things have been mostly fine. My DNS has been updated as well, but that didn't seem to have an effect.

Edit: Scratch that, I just had another long dropout, for about 10 minutes. I'm also getting some intermittent lag.

Glad I'm not the only one. It goes in spurts for me - I'll be browsing along and it'll take 120 seconds to open a random thread or bring up the reply window. Then I'll browse for anywhere from two to fifteen minutes with no problems.

I've had problems today as well, usually is lightning fast, but today i had nothing but trouble

I've been having slows off and on starting this morning when I got on.

Edit: it's been fine for the last few hours tho.

I too have been having slowdowns all day. In the last two hours some page loads have taken longer than a minute. Most are between 20-30 seconds though.

However, I just flushed the DNS cache and that may fix things for me.

nslookup is showing only 205 and 206.

Vista Ultimate x64 SP1
Internet Explorer 7

EDIT: 14 seconds to post, <1 second to edit. <1 second to save.

EDIT2: Everything's been snappy since I did the DNS flush. Hope it stays that way.

same troubles here. no matter what browser or pc Im using the forum speed been all over the place but mainly sluggish.

EDIT: it took nearly 3 minutes for my reply to post

If you have not flushed your DNS cache "ipconfig/flushdns" you could still be hitting .204. Please verify that you have flushed your cache before complaining. thanks.

Open DNS has not updated and is still pulling .204 for me. Sometimes it takes 24 hours. Once 24 hours pass, we will update everyone to flushdns.

I clicked it and it looked like it was going to let me file a report
