There was the Bragg Fragg, but they haven't had an event in years. I just emailed them to see if there is anything in the works, I'll get back to you
There is also a gaming center inside the AIT building downtown, but I haven't been yet. I really should stop by, as I'm trying to get a job there If anyone wants to help with an event, I'd be glad to start up an area lan party.

Seriously, if anyone out there is interested in helping start a Fayetteville/Bragg LAN, LMK.I would suggest you get someone who is stationed at Bragg to start a Base Club. We did that at the Air Force Academy and as a result hold a free monthly LAN at the Enlisted Club. It doesn't cost us a dime for the facilities, power, or internet(Adelphia sponsors us). And yes, it is open to the public. We just have to provide the Guards with an Entry Access List 48 hours before each LAN. I'de have my brother start one(He's 82nd Airborne), but he is deploying in February.
As I understand it, getting a LAN together around here seems kind of |H|ard. I was curious if there were any |H|ardcore hardware and gaming people in the area to just bullshit sometime or hang out or do a small couple person LAN. If anyone is up to it send me a PM. All my old PC friends are back in St. Louis and I never really get to shoot the shit to anyone that is in to it as much as I am.
