Former Valve Economist Quits As Finance Minister Of Greece

Leave Greece alone, this whole Euro thing is a scam.

Too often debt gets demonized. It's a critical financial tool that while gets abused is important not only to borrowers but to lenders and those lenders aren't just banks. If one had any money broadly invested some of that money is likely to be invested in debt both public and private.

Most of Greece's current problems are the fault of its government. They definitely weren't honest about their economic position when they entered the Euro and many in Europe were like a pay day outfit that lent money they probably knew wasn't going to get repaid under current circumstances.

Do you blame the Country, the EU for its lack of auditing, or the investment bankers(Goldman) ...which found a way to make a large amount of money hiding the debt through derivatives.

It's also hard when you have a copious amount of the national budget reserved for the pensions of former state employees.

Not to mention when your entire country has been exploited by the plutocrats of Goldman Sachs.

The pensions aren't the problem. The banksters are.
