I have 2 HDD's in my computer, an 80GB one with my OS and a 200GB one with all my junk. I just formatted my main HDD and now my secondary HDD is screwing up. After I formatted, when I restarted the computer windows started scanning the drive and flew through every file in the HDD saying something like "repairing orphaned file." The files were flying by so fast I could barely read what it was doing. Now, about half of my mp3's won't play, lots of JPEGs are screwed up, and some videos and such. The files are still on my HDD but I can't get them to work. Anyone have any suggestions as to what has happened to my HDD or what I could try in order to fix the broken files? Thank you in advance for any help that anyone can offer me. I'm getting really worried that my HDD will just lose everything on it.
