formatiing for Vista?

For a storage drive previously running on Win XP, will that be able to just plug in to Vista, or does the drive have to be formatted differently? I assume I could just save the content onto something else in the meanwhile, and then put it back on, if that's the case.

Since you're probably using standard NTFS, it should work just fine.
