how to format a m.2 drive im using with windows to sell it i dont have another pc .........dont want my os being sold with a m.2 drive
 
Type "Computer Management" in the start menu. Click on the Disk Management tab, and find your disk.

Right-click on your nvme drive and Format.
 
Yup, no need to hit anything else , but just make sure you don't nuke the wrong disk.

You should be able to see that your disk in Windows Explorer is now empty, so it's ready to be sold.
