...with all this talk of new LCD's out, who is still running this display? It does HDCP, HD 720 and 1080, widescreen, has VGA, DVI, component inputs, USB hub, adjustable stand, great specs, not a TN panel, etc.

I won't be getting rid of mine for a long time.
 
I just bought an LG L204WT but I'm thinking of exchanging it for the Gateway. They both looked great in the store but its hard to say that a usb hub, more input options, and a slightly better design are worth almost $200 more.
 
i agree this monitor is awesome and there 500 bucks now !

my friend got one for 700

also has PIP and the screen tilts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
not worth the extra 200$, you can buy the arm for your LCD and make it tilt and use your video card to make it landscape. not bad for a gateway, remember they WERE bought by emachines......

Damn, didn't know that emachines bought out Gateway. I remember when Gateway used to be top of the line and it would cost an arm and a leg to purchase a Gateway system. I was wondering why Futureshop carries them now for so cheap...

As for the Gateway FPD2185W, be sure to get the extended warranty. If not, you'll most likely be sorry...
