Forcing your video card to run games on the secondary monitor?

I would like to run my games on my tv set but don't want to make my tv the main monitor. Is there are way to have games run on the secondary monitor (tv)?

well, depending ont he TV, a lot of games won't run on it. You need 800x600 minimum resolution.

my phillips 30 inch widescreen non HD can do up to 1024 * 768... text is blurry though... but games and video looks good

Is there any software that can force the card to run on the 2nd display (games only)

I haven't found a way.

I did see a few links on modding games to make them run on 2 or more displays at once, but that's a game by game thing, and they looked a bit complicated.

so what you are saying is there's a small chance?

Do a temporary disable of the primary display, and make the 2ndary the primary until you are finished with your game session.

I've gamed this way, not very elegant, and if your 2ndary isn't good on the eyes for the desktop, you may have problems switching back your primary...... But, worth it, even to play at 800x600 on a larger tv.
