Hi
I need some help. I need to force vsync off to fix my mouse acceleration / mouse lag problem in Fallout.
How do I do that with a ATI 4870 card? Didn't find an option for it in CCC nor in D3D Overrider. Can it be done with Rivatuner somehow? Rivatuner is complaining that my display driver is not recognized, but I suppose I could do a rollback if that would make it possible to force vsync off.

the option is there. i see it.
right click on ccc ati icon, go to the first listing of your video card (i have a multi-gpu card) --> go to 3d settings --> under wait for vertical refresh click always off.

that should do it.

Thank you very much. Is it also possible to adjust the number of frames rendered ahead? I remember that reducing that number by one also fixed a mouse problem in some other game, so being able to adjust that might come in handy.

edit: Just came back from testing Fallout 3 with vsync forced off. It didn't make a difference, the floaty mouse is still there :(

Need to adjust that frames rendered ahead thing now
