So I have games like LFS that dont have an AA settings ingame. Obviously, my dumps look better than Live for Speed without AA and AF. So when I go to force the AA and AF through control panel it works fine, but when I start the game, it hasnt applied. Whats up with that? Is there anything I am doing wrong? Should my refresh rates ingame match the refresh rates on my desktop? I also have a 17in monitor and am running 1152x864 in game, and 1024x768 on my desktop.

set your resolution ingame to 1280x1024 also maybe the game doesn't support aa feature.

agreed

GRAW didn't support AA of any kind until they released a patch, at least I think they released a patch.

Well it used to work but now its not. I mean, even if a game doesnt not support AA, you could still force it through drivers correct? I mean, thats what forcing is for. Anyway, what is a native resolution for a 17" CRT? 1280x1024 is a 5:4 aspect ratio and I think 17" monitors are 4:3.

Your native resolution is your max resolution
