Forceware Driver Roundup, 56.72 - 62.01

I don't agree with that roundup. I'm using the 61.35's and will be hardpressed to be convinced those don't represent the best Nvidia has released so far; at least as far as Far Cry performance and (diminished) anomolies are concerned.s

I've tested about all the drivers except the 62.01's and the 61.71's and 61.72 WHQL's have been the best i've used. I havn't experienced these IQ issues in Far Cry that your talking about. The 61.7x's seem to be the favorites for the majority.

ya, i was using both those before I switched. I was pretty happy with 61.72

I hate graphs that don't start at 0. Look at this graph...

The difference between the best and the worst is FAR less than 1fps.

They do that because of the performance difference being so small. If you started at zero, it would be impossible to tell the performance difference between the 6 different driver sets according to the bar graphs.

i can understand why they changed the x-axis scale since the differences were so small, but i think they might of overdone it. at first look at the graph i thought the 62.01's were almost doubling the score of the 61.72's, before looking at numbers of course :p

LOL, that is funny. We spend so much time on this, haha.

Right, so they should plot it on a graph that starts with 0, thereby confirming that the performance difference is almost nonexistant.
