Force Portrait/Pivot Mode?

I am considering the Acer 24' LCD but it does not support pivot mode (in drivers or the bezel). I am planning to get a mounting arm for the screen and I want to know a) is there an arm for this monitor that pivots to portrait mode? and b) Can i force the display, via the graphics card drivers, or some way, to succecssfully display in portrait mode?

The nvidia drivers have a rotation feature that works with just about every monitor I tried it in.
