After many years of hard use my Sidewinder Wheel is finally going and I'm looking to buy a new wheel in the next few days. What do you guys recommend or should I ust get another Sidwinder since I was pretty happy with that. There has to be a ton of other brands out there that aren't in the typical chain stores that are good.

BTW, my limit is around $100

well, technically there's nothing wrong with his post because he is trying to find a good deal on something.

but he should've named the thread title to something like:

"where to find hot deal on a force feedback wheel"

or something to that effect.

Im not being an ass here, but technically he has not followed the rules because he has not done any legwork on his own.

If you are looking for a good deal on an item and see nothing posted on the forums, here’s what we suggest you do:

Well no no dont take offense, I would just think that for someone that has been here for about 3 1/2 years, and over 15k posts would know one of the rules that is broken most often. Ya know...like common sense kind of thing's?

you would think that someone who's as "newbie" as you are would have the "rules" still fresh in your brains. (that is in fact if you are using what God shouldve given you.) but you obviously dont remember the BIGGEST rule of them all and that is:

so the next time you decide to whip something out of your butt you might wanna think about what you're gonna say before you start in on someone when you're breaking the rules FAR MORE than the OP supposedly did.

There's another alternative at ~$89. Now, I don't really like racing games, so I never had a reason to by a wheel. I love what they say about the list price. Supposedly you save $5,906.48 by buying it from PCUniverse. :confused:

The only other nice looking one was ~$120. It looked like a plushier Logitech system.

Oh, sorry guys. This is the section of the site I usually go to first and I hit it by instinct. I meant to post this in the games forum....no wonder I couldn't find it, lol. its called a rough estimate need to go back to school? I didnt spend 5 seconds memorizing the exacat number and rounded up, apparently you should quit talking bull shit and learn to have SOME sense to your post.
 
sometimes, stores have ones that have been returned and still work perfectly. you can get them a lot cheaper this way. ive seen em at circuit city soemtimes. and this thread is hilarious. :p
