Force 3 +Crucial M4?

Quick question.

I've got both a Corsair Force 3 60gb drive along with a Crucial M4 256gb drive.

I was wondering would I have any issues or possible benefits from using the 60gb drive as OS only and using the M4 for storage/apps?

Or would I be better off using just the 256gb M4?

They'll go in my new z77 build.

Put the Force 3 in your camera, the M4 in your computer and the Z77 in your car

I'd use the M4 as your system drive. You can get by with a 60GB C: drive, but it just gets irritating. If I had those drives I'd probably use the 60GB as an SSD cache for a mechanical disk. That'll likely be the next storage upgrade my main rig gets. Of course you could also just use the 60GB for more apps and as scratch/temp/storage space.

Ya, i ended up doing just that.

I've never used SSD caching before though, and i haven't read up enough on it. My mobo has both the intel and asus ssd caching stuff, but i'm not sure how i should set it up with my other drives.

256gb M4 ssd
1tb WD Black - storage/photography
1tb WD Green - Movies
1tb WD Green - Television
