Force 1920x1200 resolution for 2405fpw?

Hey all,

Is there a way to force 1920x1200 resolution if it is not an option for me to choose? It supports up to 2048x1536 but it skips over 1920x1200.

This is for an IBM X41 tablet pc (hooked up to a 2405fpw) the graphics adapter is an Intel GMA 900 (http://www.intel.com/design/graphics/gma900/)

I was wondering if their is some sort of software that would allow me to manually create another resolution to choose from.

Any ideas?

Your 2405FPW CD, http://ftp.us.dell.com/monitors/R91058.EXE, or Windows Update.

The GMA900 does support 1920x1200. I have a D915GMH-based box connected through analog at that resolution when I use my 2405 as a secondary (don't ask). As long as the proper profile for the monitor is loaded, all supported resolutions should be available.

Thanks for the suggestions on software...I'll give them both a try. I did install the drivers from the CD but I will give it a try again.
