I have a very lousy Oc for my 2.4C. I decided today to Buy a new psu. An Enermax.

If that doesn't help, my plan is to replace enough things to do 2 things.

Get more outta this chip.
Build the wife her own PC.

If it does help, I'll give her this PC and build myself a new one.

even once youve eliminated the potential constraints to an overclock
(power chain and thermal solution) it still often comes down to the luck of the draw
all ICs are not created equal, its a lottery

Well, i am replacing the Ultra X. It seems to be suspect more than everything else i have. Next is the mobo. Its ok if the chip is just bunk, i still want to get the wife off of the gaming rig.
