I had it clocked up to 3.0ghz but was limited by temperatures. It could probably go a bit higher. It's a great chip, only reason I replaced it is because I got an E8400 for free.

The stock cooler is what I'm trying to get rid of. :p

I should have specified I'm looking for a quality aftermarket cooler.
