Spring cleaning is now in progress. I have had this stuff lying around for quite some time now, and it’s time to say bye bye.
I’m gonna keep the prices reasonable, and I’ll only charge you the actual shipping cost on the item. Note - SHIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE ITEM.
However, I'll only bump a few more times after 4/15/07. Afterwards, the stuff goes on ebay.
Heat and ebay feedbacks are under kunsunoke.
If you're interested in any of this stuff, please respond by PM. Bumping is also appreciated.
Thanks!

ATI Radeon 9800 np 128 MB – got this one back from ATI-RMA in Ontario. It’s not perfect – in the DOS prompt there’s some character corruption – however, once you get to Windows it performs flawlessly, without any pixel problems or artifacts. It also takes the Pro mod (Omega) with no hassles whatsoever. Has TV out and DVI port in addition to the usual VGA.
$35 USD
Sapphire Radeon 9800SE - 128 MB - purchased new about 4-5 months ago. Comes in retail box with the driver and manual, but no power dongle, unless I can find it. It's the small FDD connector anyhow, so your PSU ought to have one.
$30 USD
PowerColor (I think) GeForce 4200 – 64MB version, modified for fanless operation. The heatsink is an old 1U Athlon MP server type, and so has lower profile than most other all-copper heatsinks.
$20 USD
CPUs / Motherboards
Retail Athlon 64 / 3000+; Socket 754 version – Venice core; 0.09u process - this one will do 2.5 GHz stable on air cooling, though it does run a little hot (49 – 50 deg. C). Fifteen months old and still folding.
$30 USD
Retail Athlon 64 / 3000+; Socket 939 version purchased OEM from eWiz in California when these were kind of expensive. It's Venice core and runs at 2.4 GHz without any problems whatsoever.
$30 USD
Water cooling
2 x Ford Escort heater cores; both in excellent condition with minimal bent fins.
$10 each
Hydor Seltz L40 high-capacity water pump – brand new; 740GPH; footprint is equivalent to the Eheim 1250/1260. I bought it for a water box but have decided to run DC12V instead, due to space limitations.
$20 USD
Swiftech Socket A/370 CPU water block; was purchased used about two years ago and I had to remove the original barb retention mechanism and seal it extensively with plumber’s epoxy and marine sealant. Leak free now, though. This one has the set screws and the clamp mechanism for mounting to the socket tabs – no unmounting is required. ½” ID NPT brass barbs.
$7 USD
Swiftech VGA water block
This guy’s going to need a mounting kit, but it’s in good shape. Has ½” plastic barbs.
$10 USD
Legacy Hardware:
Asus P3B-F Slot 1 motherboard; i440BX; it’s the latest model and will take CuMine and Tualatin processors given the proper adapter. Has 4 SDRAM slots.
$12 USD
MSI-6119 Slot 1 motherboard; late model, i440BX; has four PCI and 3 ISA slots. Was built in ’98, and is definitely legacy, though it will run CuMine and Tualatin processors as well. Stable board, though has only 3 SDRAM slots.
$7 USD
Soyo SY-6VCA Slot 1 motherboard; VIA Apollo Pro 694X chipset based; was used as a Linux server base for a long time, and performed flawlessly in all that time. No bad caps, either. It’s an overclocking monster, too, from an era when Soyo was still a real company.
$16 USD.
SimpleTech PC133 CL3 SDRAM memory; 256MB (Note – will NOT work with Intel 810 or 440BX chipset boards, but will work with i815 and up as well as with VIA Apollo-series boards. Will also work on AMD Athlon / XP SDRAM chipset boards.
$15 each (I have three of them)
Intel Pentium III processor; 1 GHz cDO stepping/133 FSB; I have a matched set of these of identical stepping for those of you who enjoy SMP.
$15 each or $25 for both
Intel Celeron 3 / Tualatin; 1100 MHz / 100 FSB
$15
CoolerMaster Aero7 Lite HSF with copper core – it’s a turbine design and will work in most Socket A / 370 applications
$5 USD

Compaq Deskpro EN SFF computer, with ATI RagePro 8MB on-board video and 256MB ram installed. Processor is Intel’s Pentium 2 at 400 MHz. The HDD is a 7200 SCSI of about 4 GB. I have SuSE 8 installed on the HDD. Should make a nice router or internet surf box for somebody someplace –
(It’s heavy, so consider shipping by UPS)
Compaq Deskpro EN; NLX form factor, comes with a Rage Pro 32MB vid card and dual 20 GB IBM/Quantum hard disk drives in RAID0. This one will get a fresh install of SuSE prior to shipment. Also, the CPU’s been upgraded to a Celeron 2 / 667 MHz cCO stepping model, modified to run at 1 GHz. Should have 256MB SDRAM installed.
(Extremely heavy – again, consider UPS shipment)
